HEARTWORM POSITIVE.......BEING TREATED Dixie is undergoing heartworm treatment.  She was a puppy mill rescue.  We took her on because we felt she deserved a second chance after living a life of a mill dog being bred time after time.  Dixie will need to be kept quiet for 3 months before she can be tested again.  Hopefully, she won't need a second round of medicine.  We will find her a loving, forever home once she tests negative.  Treatment is very costly and we rely on donations to treat our dogs.  We receive no funding.  Donations will be greatly appreciated and can be sent to:
