Fleona is a 5 lb ball of love and spunk.  She is a cuddler, is sassy when it comes to food, likes other dogs, doesn't mind cats.  She really enjoys her donut bed, but the way to this little girl's heart is through her stomach.  She is crate trained and mostly potty trained.    Fleona (nicknamed Flea) came to us from a puppy mill.  It was dark when we picked her up and we could feel something that felt like scabs all over her.  When we examined her, she was polluted with thousands of fleas and covered in blood.  She immediately went into the tub for a flea bath.  The water ran off her in rivers of red from the flea feces.  It took three baths to get her clean and bug free.  Then we cut her coat off to get air to all the bites.  Her gums were very pale from the blood loss.  With love and medical attention she is now a spunky little girl.  Flea does have two herniated disks in her back that cause her no problems.  Care has to be taken that she doesn't jump off couches or beds.
