Felicity is a 3.5 year old Cavalier. She is sweet, loves people, dogs, and the cat. She needs a special home where she will be pampered for the rest of her life. Felicity was used for breeding in a puppy mill. She was skin and bones when we took her into the rescue (see last picture). As soon as she had her first bowel movements we knew what the problem could be (we had a couple other Cavs with the same problem). Felicity's pancreas cannot make the enzyme needed to digest her food causing her basically to starve. Fortunately, that enzyme comes in a powder form and is sprinkled on everything she eats. Two months later she is at a good weight and a happy, thriving little girl. Part of her tail had to be amputated due to an infection, but it still wiggles with love. This little girl is special and will need a special home that can comply with adding the enzyme to her food to keep her healthy. She deserves a home filled with love and attention.
